Niwaki Flush Cut Saw

Nifty little double sided saw with an exceptionally flexible blade for flush cutting dowel pegs.

Best usage

The absence of set teeth on this blade allow it to make clean cuts that are flush with the wood, minimising damage to surrounding areas and ensuring a smooth finish. This makes the Flush Cutting Saw suitable for detailed work, including trimming dowels, pegs and tenons. Be awarned, it’s not designed to cut though large pieces of wood: the lack of set teeth make it prone to binding, but like many good tools, if you keep it for the right job you won’t find a better option.

Clean the blade after each use with a dry cloth and use Camellia Oil (which we stock) to protect from rust. Store in a safe, dry place (preferably with a blade cover).
